SYMBIOTIC PLANET
On 1 December 2022, we launched the book Planeta Simbiótico: um novo olhar para a evolução, by biologist Lynn Margulis. A fundamental book for understanding the multicomposed nature of the planet.
The launch took place at Tropigalpão, a space for multidisciplinary art and culture projects and interventions in the Glória neighbourhood of Rio de Janeiro.
On the occasion, we also screened the film Symbiotic Earth: How Lynn Margulis Rocked the Boat and Started a Scientific Revolution, by John Feldman, a documentary that expands and deepens the studies based on Lynn's book, contextualising some of her ideas and inviting friends and researchers to offer testimonies about her work.
