PRODUCTION GROUP

Collaborative effort for the production of in-person meetings.

The Production Group was formed in 2022 with the aim of collaborating in the organization of Selvagem's face-to-face meetings. At each event, roles such as guiding donations to the Living Schools, welcoming the audience, and setting up and dismantling the space are anchored by volunteer members of the Selvagem Community.

The exhibition Viva Viva Escola Viva took place between December 2, 2023, and January 28, 2024, at Casa França-Brasil, Rio de Janeiro. In addition to assisting in the production of the opening sessions and the seminar Aprendizagem Viva [Living Ways of Knowing], volunteers from the group mediated with the audience throughout the exhibition.

Cosmovisões da Floresta [Cosmovisions of the Forest] was an event held on May 13, 2023, at the Museum of Modern Art in Rio de Janeiro (MAM-Rio), intertwining Selvagem and the Ore ypy rã – Time of Origin project. 

The Vigil of Orality was a night of book launch, storytelling, memories, and origin narratives around a bonfire at Quinta da Boa Vista, near the National Museum of Rio de Janeiro. The gathering took place between April 15th and 16th, 2023, as part of the Ancestral Memories study cycle

On 1 December 2022, we launched the book Planeta Simbiótico: um novo olhar para a evolução, by biologist Lynn Margulis at Tropigalpão, a venue in Rio de Janeiro. 

On October 23, 2022, we held an in-person discussion circle on Teacher Plantsat Casa França-Brasil, in Rio de Janeiro, alongside the book launch of Plantas Mestras – Tabaco e Ayahuasca (Dantes, 2022), by Jeremy Narby and Rafael Chanchari Pizuri, with illustrations by Peconquena. 

On June 21, 2022, we held a discussion circle and screened Arrow 6 at the Brazilian College of High Studies, of the Rio de Janeiro Federal University, as part of the . Regenerants of Gaia cycle

In the afternoon of May 14, 2022, The Kiss of the Hummingbirdtook place at the Museum of Modern Art of Rio de Janeiro, a circle of learning, education, educational institutions, living schools, challenges of pedagogies, and strengthening the transmission of traditional knowledge.
